Jule joined the firm in August, 2004. She has been a Certified Public Account for twenty-five years starting with a Big 8 firm after graduation from Portland State. Jule has had her own small CPA practice since 1980 and has worked in private industry and as a consultant for small and large businesses in a wide variety of industries. She has expertise in all areas of taxation and spent five years working during tax season with Big 4 and large regional CPA firms. Her specialty is working with entrepreneurial businesses in the areas of taxation, accounting support and system design and implementation. Jule is a professional tap dancer and also enjoys performing in musical theatre. She enjoys aerobics, ballroom dancing, biking, and spending quality time at home with her two cats.| < Prev | Next > |

IRS Rules on written advice have been tightened...
The IRS rules that govern the degree of risk we can legally take when providing you with advice have been tightened.
Originally these rules were designed to deal with traditional tax shelter avoidance schemes and the tax professionals who were advocating their use. The use of these rules now covers any transaction that has a significant purpose of avoiding income taxes.
We wanted to make you aware of these rules so that you understand the IRS’s increased focus on collecting taxes and penalties from those who have, and prepare, aggressive tax returns and use tax avoidance schemes.
