Started with a Big 8 (in that age) CPA/Business Consulting Firm in 1977 and gaining six years of valuable experience, Mr. Napier formed Napier and Company in 1986. His subsequent years of solid experience includes providing management advisory services for closely held businesses. Tom currently specializes in valuing closely held businesses and assisting business owners with succession planning. Some specific services Mr. Napier has provided are management information systems analysis, cost/profit analysis, business valuations, pricing strategies, assisting businesses with financing requirements and preparing business plans. IRS Rules on written advice have been tightened...
The IRS rules that govern the degree of risk we can legally take when providing you with advice have been tightened.
Originally these rules were designed to deal with traditional tax shelter avoidance schemes and the tax professionals who were advocating their use. The use of these rules now covers any transaction that has a significant purpose of avoiding income taxes.
